This net was very easy to set up and is very durable

I have had several backyard nets over the past years. The last one is the ones you see the most that are put together with small fiberglass rods with elastic cord running thru it. They are cheap and break frequently if you move them around and they blow over in the slightest wind. This net is sturdy as heck and put together well and won't blow over in the wind. If you want a net easy to install and basically fool proof this is the one to buy. I use the net every week in the spring summer and fall so it gets heavy use.

I bought one of these five years ago. I have left it outside the entire time. I was once able to break one of the locking push pins, but that was my fault for manhandling it one time, and I just put a small bolt/nut through the hole to repair it. I usually don't write reviews but I thought this product deserved one.

The first time putting it together took a little longer, but it didn't take very long in the times after that. I leave the metal base outside permanently (covered with cheap pool noodles so they're not so exposed to the elements). When I want to hit some golf balls (only the foam ones for now), I pop the 6 side rods in and stretch the net. This takes about a couple of minutes. I remove the side rods and net after hitting and store them in the bag that came with the net. The net is decent height and only a ball or two escaped.
