super easy to set up and easy to store

This is my favorite net for baseball practice. I have both a pop up/ instant net and the tube-style based one that breaks down into several pieces. The folding mechanism on this one is much easier than the ones that breakdown completely. You can keep the net on as well. Well worth extra money.

This is a well-made, heavy-duty batting net that I expect to will last several seasons. There were less expensive alternatives on Amazon, but I think this is worth the extra cost. The zipper on the storage/transport bag is flimsy and seems likely to break at some point. A more robust zipper and a bit heftier bag would make this a 5-star item.

Love the net. The only negative is the carry bag always tears on both ends and barely fits in the bag.

In slow pitch you have to be able to hit the high pitch, and that means putting the tee up as high as it can go. Last year I had the 7’ version that had welds on the base and the opening of the net wasn’t high enough. More often than not each swing would knock the entire structure over and I would have to pick it up off of the ground. I lived with it l, but over a summer all of those hits ended up snapping both of the welds on each side of the base, on top of multiple holes in the net itself. This 8’ version is able to handle putting the tee up higher because the net portion is higher. Also the base has bolts and not welds so I don’t anticipate snapping it.
